Woodland Birthday Parties
What better way to celebrate your child’s birthday than by spending a couple of hours immersed in nature and sharing this experience with their friends. Each party will consist of games, woodland craft, and forest school activities i.e. fire lighting, whittling, sawing, but children will also be able to engage in free play whilst in the forest and perhaps make their own dens. Children will have the opportunity to swing in the hammocks or test their balance across the slackline, climb trees or play hide and seek.
The session is a mix of adult-led, facilitation, and free-play. As each party is unique this will change and adapt depending upon the needs of the group.
Group party maximum is 15 of which 2 parent helpers are to be present.
Ages of children are 5+ (Due to covid measures we cannot take the children under 5 due to needing a higher ratio of parents in attendance)
Party times are 10-12 or 1-3.
Prices are £18 per child
Parties will run on Tuesdays, Wednesday’s and Thursdays throughout the half-term holidays.
Each session will finish around the fire toasting marshmallows and eating s’mores.
**Please note, we are aiming to take party bookings from April half-term but we are unsure at this time about the future guidelines and how they will change. Any booking could result in the party having to be canceled if government guidelines tell us we can not operate. Therefore, an understanding of this needs to be considered upon placing a deposit. A deposit will be taken at the time of booking, however, should we have to cancel the party because of the aforementioned the deposit shall be returned.**
Other occasions when a party may be canceled would be due to staff sickness or extreme weather, of which an alternative date shall be offered.
All children must be dressed appropriately for the weather and for the environment. No dresses or skirts allowed, or slip-on shoes or pumps. Children must have sturdy footwear and waterproofs if it is to be raining.
